Saturday’s feature classes are The Empire Coachbuilders Area Trial, worth £1,000,and the Stockdale Accountants Derby in the TopSpec Arena. On Sunday there’s a Connollys Red Mills Newcomers Second Round and The Stockdale Accountants 1.40m Grand Prix and on Bank Holiday Monday the Addington Manor Talent Seeker incorporating the 7 Year Old Horse Championship Qualifier (1.30m) will be staged.

Classes will take place in the TopSpec Main Arena, Everys All-Weather Arena and Newbery Ring starting at 8am on each day with additional warm up arenas, including the new Western Counties Vets-sponsored 70m x 60m all-weather arena.

Entry for spectators is free and Saturday is party night with live music from Riviera Dogs starting at 8.30pm.

Arena manger Helen West said:

“It’s our busiest five days of the year when hundreds of competitors will be heading to Devon to compete in an array of classes ranging from British Novice to the Area Trial which is worth £1000. Spectators will be spoilt for choice with action in all three arenas throughout the five days. It will be very busy, but its another feather in the cap for equestrianism in the Westcountry.”
