Homme House (Much Marcle)

Homme House is the only BE event wholly in Herefordshire. It runs Novice, BE100 and BE90 classes. The XC is very well built and designed by Simon Grundy and his team through beautiful undulating Capability Parkland with varied jumps. There is an attractive water complex that had a face-lift in 2015. Very flat dressage arenas below Much Marcle church. The show jumping was moved for 2016 which proved popular with competitors and visitors alike as it was surrounded by the trade stands and was more central to the event. By kind permission of Captain and Mrs. J. Finnigan

The Last Word...

Great friendly event with a lovely low key ‘old fashioned’ feel.  Decent dressage arenas with nice big warm up.  Show jumping was testing enough with some challenging distances but XC well built with decent questions. Requires certain level of fitness and bravery. Good positive experience well worth repeating.
