The course is over sandy undulating ground usually with good going. We are off the A54 between Chester and Winsford. We have food stalls and a variety of trade stands.

Oliver Townend’s recent run of good form continued at the Istanbul BBQ sponsored Kelsall Hill (2) when he proved to be the man to beat in the Open Intermediate (OI).

Townend produced an impressive performance with Ballaghmor Class to head the leader board in front of runners-up Louise Harwood and her long-time campaigner Mr Potts, while Oliver’s other rides Cooley SRS and King Joules also featured in the placings.
