Well, that was a first! And one that was slightly nerve-wracking and made for a sleepless night last night! A few weeks ago Harriet and I were invited to go on Siren FM’s Midweek Drive Morning Edition with Alex Lewczuk – Lincoln’s first community radio station, which also goes out globally on Podcast via SouthsideBroadcasting.Podbean.com.
One of our very lovely contributors, William Sitwell, a regular on Siren FM, had been interviewed by Alex Lewczuk after he had written his brilliant Picnic Rules for us back in the Summer and had been on air and given us several lovely plugs.
So Alex tracked us down and invited us on and today was the day. Sweaty palms and lots of ‘ums’ but the good news is that we have been invited back! Could this be a start of a regular slot on Siren FM? Watch this space! We’ve certainly got the faces for it!
