Meet the Speakers:
Camilla Henderson BSc, MSc, MBPsS
Camilla is currently working in her fourth season with Swindon Town Football club, and has previously worked for four seasons with Bristol Rugby at Premiership level. Camilla also runs her own private practice with equestrian clients across all disciplines; she has worked with international polo players, dressage riders, show jumpers and event riders.
Camilla also lectures in Sport & Exercise Psychology, as well as running workshops for groups of athletes, teams, (including juniors & adolescents), coaches and parents of adolescent athletes. Camilla regularly runs workshops for equestrian coaches and instructors on seminar training days, delivers talks and presentations for various Riding Clubs and Hunt Clubs & also for various teams & organisations within the field of all things equestrian! Camilla started riding at a young age, surrounded by horses throughout, competed up towards JRN level and now rides regularly as an amateur Jockey.
Zoe Taylor BSc, MSc, MBPsS
Zoe is currently the Academy Sport Psychologist for Harlequins rugby. Her work has seen her working with a range of clients and sports, such as fencing, badminton, basketball and riders to name a few! Her research interests have explored talent management and career transitions in event riders. In her spare time, she enjoys competing at Intermediate Eventing on her horse Finn with ambitions to go Advanced this season.
Kat Rowley – Pilates Instructor
Kat is a fully qualified Pilates teacher who currently works with the Harlequins First Team. Kat will be taking the final section of the workshop which will be a 50 minute Pilates session, focusing on the core problematic areas that are commonly associated with riders. Kat will be teaching us how we can strengthen and develop our engagement in those specific key areas.
