Stafford Horse Trials is one of the largest grassroots events on the British Eventing calendar and members in the region were very disappointed when the closure of the event was announced. British Eventing are delighted to confirm that Stafford will be back for 2016 James and Vicky Plant will take over as organisers for 2016 and have already made major personal investment to replace the large number of cross country fences that were sold off after the July event.

Friendly event with a well organised layout and good viewing on XC. The XC has been bold but fair in recent years, with a “big event” feel. A new organising team is in place for 2016, who are actively seeking sponsors, developing new fences and keep their supporters up to date via their website & Facebook page.
