The first year of the Land Rover Pony Club Regional Championships will host show jumping and dressage competitions, and will incorporate eventing into the second year. Young riders will be able to qualify for one of the Land Rover Pony Club Regional Championship events through 19 Area Qualifiers.
Mary Tuckett, Chairman of The Pony Club, explained:
“The Land Rover Pony Club Regional Championships provides a competitive opportunity for our members that want to take their first step in their equestrian careers, giving the experience of a championship environment.
We recognise that not all Pony Club members have ambitions to compete at the highest level and it can seem slightly out of reach. The Land Rover Pony Club Regional Championships is a really accessible opportunity for those who want to experience a big event atmosphere within a regional environment”.
