Having reneged on every resolution ever made at this time of year, Co-Founder of The Gaitpost, Sarah Heseltine, has run out of excuses of not seeing through her commitment to get out of her comfort zone in 2015 and enter her first competition with her relatively new horse, Mischief. Here Sarah shares the ups and luckily no downs (yet)!

Having always loved to ride, but never at any noteworthy level, I returned to riding after a 20 year sabbatical when I soon learnt that 4 legs were better than 2 when attempting to keep up with my three children and their ponies. It wasn’t long before I realised that my heath robinson childhood riding was more like hanging on and hoping to get home….
