On Friday 15th April at Tattersalls Country House, the committee of the Tattersalls Ireland July Show in association with the Rolestown Show and Ward Union Hunt presented Sr. Margaret Cashman and Ms. Dee Kinnane of St Francis Hospice with a cheque for €12,000 as a contribution to the invaluable facility.
This will be the third year that St. Francis Hospice will be the beneficiary of funds raised at the Tattersalls Ireland Show. The Hospice, which is located in Raheny and more locally in Blanchardstown, offers palliative care, day care, bereavement support, therapy, physiotherapy and outpatients clinics.
Planning for the 2016 Tattersalls Ireland July Show in association with the Rolestown Show and Ward Union Hunt is already at an advanced stage with the dates temporarily moved for this year. This year the show will take place on Tuesday June 28th and Wednesday June 29th and will revert back to its original slot for 2017. The Showing classes will be held on the Tuesday and Show-jumping will be on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The event will again see an array of equestrian classes from show jumping to side saddle, showing classes to team hunt chase and entertainment for all the family.
