BEDE Events launches Belton International Horse Trials app

BEDE Events have proudly to announced the launch of its new app ahead of this weekend’s Belton International Horse Trials. Gone are the days of paper programmes – now all the information that riders, owners and spectators might want concerning the horse trials can be accessed from their phones. Timetables, live scores, running orders, attractions, shops, it’s all there in your pocket. Section by section horse and rider combinations are detailed, with their times for each phase listed, and you can even see the cross country courses via the CrossCountry App.

Download the free app before the event and you will be good to go. Called Eventing App it is available from the App Store for iPhones ( ) and from Google for android phones.

“This is an exciting innovation for the sport and I hope it will be well received by everyone who comes to Belton this weekend – and by those unable to come but who want to keep up with how their favoured horse or rider is doing, in real time,” says Event Director, Stuart Buntine.

The finishing touches are now being put to the cross country courses and in two days time Belton House’s Deer Park will be buzzing with activity. Over 90 tradestands will be selling their wares throughout the weekend, while more than 650 horse and rider combinations will tackle one of the four cross country courses that weave their way around the Park. Add to that around 70 pony club and 80 dressage competitors and the result is plenty of equine action to watch over the three days.

Between twelve and fifteen thousand people are expected to come and enjoy the shopping, the sport, the attractions, the dog show and the live music, which will be playing on both Saturday and Sunday.

Full details of what is happening and when can be found both on the new Eventing App and on the website
