Ben Hobday 1

BREAKING NEWS: Saturday 18th April 16.45

Having patiently waited and moved slowly up the wait list, it was confirmed today, that Ben Hobday and the V8 cob that is Mulry’s Error ARE heading to Badminton!

We can’t wait to see them in action !

Fans of eventing will be keeping everything crossed for Ben Hobday and the famous ‘V8 Cob’ that is Mulry’s Error as the entries for Badminton are announced today. Hobday sits 7th on the wait list and both owner Sallie Ryle and her daughter Vanessa, will be hoping that a slot comes up. Ben and Mulry achieved a fantastic double clear at Burghley last year and if a space becomes available, it will be their first Badminton together.

It was recently announced that Hobday has joined Equilibrium Products’ impressive team of eventing champions including William Fox Pitt, Sam Griffiths and Jock Paget.

26 year old Ben began his eventing career after training with Hannah Bate and William Funnell.   He then set up his own yard 8 years ago and has had great success at national and international levels winning team gold and individual bronze at the European Championships in Germany 2008.

Looking to find stylish yet trusted leg protection for his horses, Ben uses Tri-Zone Boots as he believes in the science behind the boot range and recognises the importance of Equilibrium Products’ independent testing process.

Ben says, “Feeling good and looking good is what I am about and that’s the same for my horses. They look good in the boots but most importantly they feel good when I am riding”.

Laura Cutter, Marketing Manager at Equilibrium Products says, “Ben brings his energy and enthusiasm to our team and we are delighted to be able to support him and his horses for the 2015 season.”

We will be keeping everything crossed for Ben, Sally, Vanessa and Mulry as Badminton approaches.  For a full list of entries, click here: BADMINTON 2015
