Brooke is heading to Your Horse Live

Brooke will be joining some of the world’s top equestrians at this year’s Your Horse Live from 11 – 12 November. The charity is sponsoring the celebrity signing area, hosting two trade stands, and running insightful sessions in the Equine Learning Zone.

The event, which takes place at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, will feature world famous guests including Brooke global ambassador Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester, who will be celebrating his 50th birthday with a star-studded party on the Saturday night.

This year Brooke is sponsoring the celebrity signing area, so visitors can walk away with a free Brooke goody bag as well as their favourite star’s autograph. Geoff Billington, Laura Renwick and Richard Maxwell are just some of the big names headed for the stand.

Brooke specialises in protecting and improving the lives of working horses and donkeys in developing countries, where people rely on those animals to earn a living and support their families. Visitors will hear first-hand about Brooke’s vital work from the charity’s Veterinary Advisor Ebony Escalona who will be talking about her experience in Brooke’s developing countries and how it compares to cases we see in the UK. Speaking from 10am each day, Ebony will share her top tips on farriery, first aid and injury and shine a light on some fascinating Brooke stories.

Brooke will have staff and volunteers on hand at stands 388 and 454 in Hall 3.  Visitors will get the chance to celebrate their relationship with their own horses, both past and present, at Brooke’s Me and My Horse stand. Horse lovers can share their stories and pin photos of themselves and their horses on a photo wall, which will be displayed over the weekend and at future events. Brooke’s Lichfield Community Fundraising group will also have a stand raising awareness and funds for the charity. They will have a big tombola with lots of horsey prizes. In 2016, the group had a surprise visit from Charlotte Dujardin, causing quite a stir with the stall’s visitors!

This year the charity will be running a social media competition to give supporters the chance to win tickets to Your Horse Live. To enter simply follow Brooke’s FacebookTwitter and Instagram accounts.
