Lloyds Bank brings the Black Horse back for 250th Anniversary

Anyone else blubbing over the new Lloyds Bank TV advert, which has been created to mark the 250th anniversary, featuring the iconic black horse? It’s gorgeous. 

The new television advert – created by the same creative team who devised John Lewis’s popular Monty the Penguin Christmas advert last year – aired tonight for the first time on national television.

Lloyds first used a black horse as its logo in 1884. The first real horse was used in television advertising from the 1980’s until 1999, when Lloyds merged with TSB.
