Meet the ‘seven Wonders of Wiltshire ’

They are pictured at the ‘Avebury fence’, one of the signature jumps that will feature at the St James’s Place Barbury International Horse Trials, 7-10 July 2016. The septet  will all be competing at Barbury’s equestrian spectacular, located on the beautiful Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire. 

All of the above are either decorated Olympian’s, high performance athletes, selected to represent or are long listed for their country at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the sport of Eventing.  Furthermore, their stables and where they train from are all based in Wiltshire within a 15 mile radius of the Barbury Castle Estate, which hosts the Barbury International Horse Trials in just under two week’s time.

Nigel Bunter, owner of the Barbury Castle Estate and event Chairman commented;

“In just under two week’s time over 1000 horse and rider combinations, featuring Rio hopefuls, will be competing here at Barbury. Nowhere in the UK and probably the world compares with the number of world class event riders that are based within a 15 mile radius of Barbury Castle, Marlborough and we are really looking forward to welcoming them all here to their local event “.
