The Review:
A creature of habit, I have worn the same brand of breeches for an unspontaneous amount of years! Relying on my insulated riding boots for extra warmth, it was a day for celebration when I ventured into unchartered territory and tried these softshell breeches from Noble Outfitters. Don’t let my description of a wetsuit put you off! The stretchy, fleece lined fabric is slightly reminiscent of Cornish holidays but in a good way!
There is no heaving and pulling and talcum powder required! They are super comfy and my goodness they keep you warm. We’ve hacked out, had numerous lessons, mucked out and poo picked the fields which are on top of a very windy hill and they have made a big difference to my overall comfort and warmth. They wash brilliantly and I love the squishy knee grips and stretchy ankle. It’s going to be hard switching back to my old sort but that’s not happening anytime soon! Winter riding just got a whole lot more insulated. Big tick in the box!
