The grand unveiling of the brand new course, designed by Tina Ure and built by David Carpenter, will take place on Friday afternoon as the course opens at 2pm for competitors to walk their courses in preparation for a weekend of action packed competition.

With substantial investment in brand new fences, a new feature water complex and irrigation systems to prepare the ground, the venue is set to be a fabulous new addition to the British Eventing calendar for the Eastern Region, which will not only offer 2 days of exciting grassroots competition but will also provide an additional training venue for the region.

Horseheath by numbers:

£2500 worth of additional prizes

13 winners videos provided by An Eventful Life

3 Tractors with Agivators and Equivators preparing the ground

2 charities receiving donations following the event – The Maggie Centre and The East Anglian Air Ambulance

1 Willberry Wonder Pony stand, supporting the legacy left by the late Hannah Francis, with riders encouraged to wear their #KickingCancersButt wrist bands, quartermarks and much much more.

There is so much more to Horseheath Horse Trials than exciting grassroots sports, as the gates are opened to welcome spectators.  Horse Requisites open up their onsite shop for the first time, along with local boutique stands.  Dodson & Horrell will be onsite to offer nutritional advice to competing horses as well as spectators wishing to discuss their own equines. Horseheath also welcomes ‘horsebox’ catering offering delicious flat breads and Pip’s Pimms bar to while away a sunny summer’s day watching equestrian sport in this fabulous natural amphitheater.

Spectators are very welcome to come and enjoy the action.  Car’s will be charged £10 entry unless they present a British Eventing membership card, with which entry is free.
