The Redwings Show always brings great anticipation and excitement with classes to suit every age, ability and horse, and the charity hopes this year will be no exception.
Now in its eighth year, the Redwings show continues to provide a jam-packed schedule and a fun day out for all. In particular, Redwings prides itself on creating an encouraging and supportive environment for those ponies and riders who are new to the showing arena with a ring dedicated to novice classes.
Similarly, whether striving to go clear in working hunter classes, aiming for a personal best competitive ridden performance or showcasing impressive heavy horses, the Redwings Show also has plenty to offer the more experienced show-goer.
The ever-popular Donkey Breed Society affiliated classes, and veteran and fun classes will also be returning this year – not forgetting the rescue classes, which are a particular favourite among Redwings’ show team and competitors alike. Rescued ponies from any charity are welcome to take part.
Redwings Show organiser Stacey Harvey said:
“I’m delighted to announce that we are now welcoming entries for our 2017 show! And I’m also really pleased to say that Diss Event Photography will be attending this year to take and print photographs on the day so competitors and their families can take their memories of the Redwings Show home with them.
“Every year I am so impressed with the standard of competitors and their beautifully turned out horses and donkeys. Whether you are new to showing, looking for a challenge or hoping to turn your hoof to something new, I’m looking forward to once again welcoming horses and riders of all ages and abilities for another fun day out.
“Who will be crowned this year’s Supreme Champion? I can’t wait to find out!”
