Sam Arbon organiser of the coloured horse hunt day
The Suffolk Hunt, based in East Anglia, has invited coloured horse fanatic Sam Arbon to gather coloured horse owners together for a day’s hunting next month.
Sam has been involved in the hunting community since the age of 2, following various hunts in Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Leicestershire and is known for promoting side saddle meetings.
Sam said:
‘I have always had a love of coloured horses and have shown them for several years. The idea of the coloured horse hunt day came about after seeing Pytchley Hunt all-grey day which was a great success. A few friends asked me if I could plan a coloured horse hunt day. The team at the Suffolk Hunt have been fantastic in supporting this and have welcomed the idea. We can’t wait for the day to come and have photographers primed and ready to capture the action.’
The Suffolk hunt are delighted to host the inaugural coloured horse hunt day. Clare Brown, Suffolk Hunt Secretary said:
‘Coloured horses are so popular now to see so many at one meet will be quite a spectacle. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Suffolk land owners & farmers who very generous to the hunt and in supporting our activities’
