Bullen Cards Equestrian Stationery

Aug 70-RETOUCHTo celebrate the start of the eventing season, The Gaitpost were delighted to get a sneak preview of the new range of equestrian stationery and gifts available online from Thursday 5th March by Bullen Cards.

The beautiful illustrations are by renowned equestrian artist and children’s book illustrator, Anne Bullen (1912-1963) and are being re-launched under the direction of Anne’s Great-Grandson, artist, Jack Bullen.

As matriarch of the well-known eventing family, and founder of the famous Catherston Stud, Anne Bullen’s depictions of horses and ponies capture the incredible movement and form of these magnificent creatures with which she was so familiar. Anne’s illustrative work can be remembered in the much-loved equestrian novels by authors such as the Pullein-Thomson sisters, Monica Edwards and Marjorie E. Procter.

Available at the new ranges will include equestrian stationary, calendars, magnets, placemats and their 2015 Christmas selection. A select number of archival images will subsequently be released yearly in to categories including Eventing, Native Ponies, Driving and Hunting, keeping the excitement alive for collectors and horse fans of all ages.

In our super fast hectic digital age, these all make wonderful gifts to savour and enjoy and are fabulous gifts for all equestrian enthusiasts. (Don’t forget Mother’s Day on Sunday 15th March!)
