The day kicked off with a nail biting first match where Air Europa Team Buenos Aires pipped Whitley Neill Team Cape Town to the post with a late goal to claim the first victory by 5 goals to 4. Next it was EFG team Zurich and Experience Kissimmee Team Kissimmee who went mallet to mallet in the sunshine with the crowd at its best. The match came to a close and a tense finish with Juan Cruz Merlos missing a penalty and the game resulting in an 8-8 draw.

The home crowd was excited for the Mandarin Oriental Team London game versus Argentex Team Dubai however it wasn’t London’s game on the day. With renowned polo player Malcom Borwick captaining the side and hoping for glory, Team London certainly had plenty of opportunities to take the win however they were up against a strong performance by Argentex Team Dubai’s Chris Hyde who tormented the Team London defence constantly throughout the game. The final score, Mandarin Oriental Team London 3, Argentex Team Dubai 7.

The final showdown of the day was the much anticipated ICM International Match between Flannels England and ICM Ireland. Both teams battled it out during the match with Jack Richardson the only scorer for Flannels England and Richard Le Poer the only scorer for ICM Ireland. Eventually the game ended with a 5-5 draw meaning it went to a dramatic final run down. With a tense ending, Ryan Pemble for ICM Ireland stole the show with the final hit of the game meaning ICM Ireland are the official winners of the ICM Capital International Match.
