Riding Mr and Mrs Aivar Ward’s, 10-year old gelding Ivar Gooden by Convinced, with whom she finished 21st at The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials earlier this season, the pair head to France this August as part of the British team looking to maintain their series lead ahead of a very inform German squad.
The young rider has gained her place on the British team through hard work, determination and following being crowned the leading under 25 rider at The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials on her debut appearance at the world-famous event earlier this season.
The partnership had a strong finish to the 2016 season, placing 12th at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials CCI***, and consistent start to the 2017 season winning the U25 Advanced at Belton Park International Horse Trials in April, as well as a recent top 10 finish at the St. James’s Place Barbury Castle International Horse Trials earlier this month.
“It is a very exciting time to receive my first Team GBR call up, after all the hard work we put in as a team, and it is always nice for our long standing and very supportive owners to have their horse’s abilities recognised in this way.” – Imogen Murray
