While my days of having a Net-a-Porter VIP card may be a distant memory, I still hanker after the good things that a perfect jumper can do for you on a bad day. However I hanker no more: sartorial splendour IS possible on horseback day to day, and even better – you can’t shrink it!! Step forward the Noble Outfitters Cowl Neck Top: comfortable, well fitting and not too wide, with enough length in the arms and the body not to reveal a pasty white midriff, a soft fabric which doesn’t catch on jackets / other jumpers, and in an array of soft, complexion enhancing colours…

OK so granted the “windswept blush” look will never be softened by a muted blue, but nonetheless a big thumbs up for stylish, practical, well made, well fitting clothes which wash well and look smart even at the end of a long day. Now, where can I sign up for a VIP card……..?!
