1. Great Fire of London : This weekend is the anniversary of the Great Fire of London 350 years ago, that started on this day. On Sunday at 8.30pm in London, between Blackfriars and Waterloo Bridge they will light the work of art on the wooden barge, so head down and see the replica of London’s greatest fire. Visit London have a great information site.

2. DOMINOES : On Saturday 3 September at Station Place Opera in the City, there will be toppling dominos taking you on the journey tracing the Great Fire.  Pick your spot. Click the link HERE

3. Floating Dreams on the Thames 1-30 September: Discover floating art along the Thames by the Millenium Bridge.

4. Hive at Kew Gardens and 22-25 is the Literary Festival with a ton of talks and events going on.

5. Natural History Museum : Colour & Vision.  A simple MUST SEE Exhibition.  It is visually stunning, beautiful and educational.

6. Terence Donavan at the Photographer’s Gallery until 25 September

7. Tall Ships are back in London at Greenwich 15-18 September. The best way to see this if you have time is on the MBNA river boat!

1. Open House 17-18 September: I love this event, because there is nothing I love more than details in houses – historic or old. Check out the program, and see what catches your eye.

2. Proms in the Park 10 September: Buy your tickets for the outside experience of true Britishness linking in with the last night of the Prom at the Royal Albert Hall.

3. New Scientist Live 22-25 September: Tim Peake speaking at the Excel Centre.  Six months in space I’m sure he will have a lot to say about it.

4. You Say You Want A Revolution: Records and Rebels at the V&A. Opens As a 60’s baby, I’m looking forward to looking back at the era when my parents lived life!

5.  September Open Water Swim in Hyde Park

6. Book Lost in Disco for January at Bush Hall – blow away the cobwebs of Christmas. A great gift idea!
