Unfortunately Natalia has been a little ignored and had to take a back seat because I have to put work first in order to pay for her (she doesn’t make it easy either with her expensive preferences). I have had a few funny faces and lots of noise from her where she is desperate to catch my attention whenever I’m on the yard, she is such a diva, always demanding.

It has also been fun to be helping out Judy Harvey, as I did my apprenticeship with her a few years ago it was super easy to slip back in and know how the yard ran. Of course the lovely part was seeing all the horses I knew so well, it’s surprising how attached you get and build relationships with these animals when you are dealing with them regularly they really are like family.
My recent outing to have my saddle checked showed Natalia has most certainly grown, in fact so much so she has moved up a gullet size. This is fantastic news for me coming out of winter with a horse that is usually difficult to keep weight on so big thank you to TopSpec and the trusty UlsaKind Cubes.
I was very disappointed to miss my very last BEF Talent Excel training session due to a horrendous stomach bug that both my mother and I were completely wiped out with – all courtesy of my little brother.

After 4 years on the lottery funded programme I am sorry to be leaving but during this time I have been privileged to have learnt so much from so many top class people and I will take all this knowledge and advice with me for the future.
Sadly after successfully being selected on two cycles of the programme I am no longer eligible to apply again.
